Give us the make, model, engine, filter part number if available, symptoms and fault codes. Explain whether diagnosis has been completed and whether the filter is already removed.
We’ll discuss the cleaning enquiry, confirm the quote and check the next available slot. If the unit may be unsuitable, that needs to be considered before committing to treatment.
Your garage removes the filter. Contact us to agree a time before bringing it to our Whittlesey workshop.
Same-day bookings must be made by 10am and agreed in advance, subject to capacity and suitability. Call ahead to confirm the workshop address and your drop-off time.
A suitable filter receives off-vehicle machine cleaning. Controlled water pressure, cleaning solutions and heat treatment are used to address soot and ash deposits.
Cleaning cannot rebuild damaged ceramic or fix an engine fault. If you need specific testing or documentation, ask what is included in your quote.
Once the cleaned filter is back with your garage, they refit it and carry out the vehicle manufacturer’s required checks and procedures.
Resolving the underlying cause is essential. A filter can load up again if a relevant fault is still present or regeneration is repeatedly interrupted.
